An official e-petition has been launched to protect Tiddenfoot Leisure Centre, located in Linslade.
Tiddenfoot is a vital health and well-being resource for both young people and adults in our community. With the Everyone Active service relocating to a new site at the opposite end of Leighton Buzzard, residents of Linslade risk being left without accessible and affordable leisure facilities.
For many years, Tiddenfoot has been a thriving, community-focused leisure centre, supporting healthy and active lifestyles and being widely used by young people adults and families with people of all different ages and abilities/disabilities. Its continued operation is essential to ensuring inclusive access to physical activity and wellbeing opportunities.
We are therefore calling on Central Bedfordshire Council to keep Tiddenfoot open as a community leisure facility.

Anyone who lives, works, or studies in Central Bedfordshire is eligible to sign.
Petition deadline: 17 February 2026.
I would be very grateful if you could consider supporting this petition and sharing it with your sports clubs, so that others who value accessible community facilities can also participate.
I have attached a poster and would appreciate it if you could display and share it where possible.
Thank you for your time and consideration. I hope this action can help protect the well-being of young people and families in our community.
Kind regards,
