COMPETITIVE GOLF RETURNS….

Competitive golf returns at Leighton Buzzard’s Plantation Road club on Saturday, with almost 250 members taking part in Simon Rossiter’s Captains Day.

It’s an early morning start for the first of 53 fourball groups of men tee-off, followed by 35 ladies in the afternoon.

Strict social distancing rules remain in force for the golf competition, prize presentation and social function which follows.

It’s the first competition since pandemic lockdown measures were imposed in mid-March. Since they were relaxed, only social golf has been allowed.
Further events have also been scheduled, with a club Stableford on July 26, followed by the Club Championships on August 8-9.
