FLYING THE FLAG FOR THE NHS

Golfers are flying the flag for the NHS at Leighton Buzzard’s Plantation Road club.
Though no golf is being played to comply with government advice to curb the spread of the Corona virus, pins on the 9th and 18th holes now bear the NHS logo on flags as a tribute to medical and care teams working tirelessly to save lives.

Proceeds from the purchase of the flags will be donated to the NHS while Club Captain Simon Rossiter is planning to raise further funds to donate to the Service from events once lock-down restrictions are eased.
