Golfing buddies Tony Brinded and Danny Reynolds had one hand on a place in Leighton’s Captain Cup final next month after carding 46 points in Saturday’s qualifier….only for Tim Mitchell and Nick Tingey to pip them at the post by scoring 47 points a day later.
Tim and Nick now join Peter Sheridan and Simon Thornton, Dharm Naveen Diwaker and Steven Tyas, Phil Coumbe and John Ager, John Tarbox and Graham Hazell, Alan Smith and John McSweeney, and Darren Valentine and Steve Richardson in the April 4 final shoot-out.
