Three members of Santa’s squad of helpers limbered up for Tuesday’s (Dec 24) busy night shift by turning up at Leighton Buzzard’s Plantation Road golf club and winning a prize.
The trio were from Santa’s Elves and Safety department checking out the terrain for Santa’s nine-strong team of reindeer led by red-nosed Rudolph, joined for tonight’s world tour by Dasher, Dancer, Prancer, Vixen, Comet, Cupid, Donner and Blitzen.
The three prize winning Elves were Avril Simpson, Oonagh Russell and Vicki Pratt, who, slightly hampered by turning up in tonight’s work wear, failed to win on the golf course, but winged it home with a prize for capturing the spirit of Christmas with their outfits.
